Our standard
The bar keeps dropping. Ours does not.
Academic standards in this country have been sliding for years, and most parents can see it. Government cannot fix everything at once. And too many private schools have answered with packaging instead of teaching — pampering children, avoiding hard work, and promoting everyone to the next class because it keeps parents happy.
We went the other way. We raise the bar and we ask our pupils to reach it. Work is marked honestly and weak work goes back. No child moves up a class because the calendar says so. Discipline is part of the teaching here — firm where it needs to be, never harsh, and always explained. Strict, but humane.
We do not pamper children, and we do not tell parents what they want to hear. You do not have to take our word for it. Ask our parents. Then look at where our pupils go next — secondary school, other primary schools, and for some of them, schools abroad. They are not the ones playing catch-up.
